Fully inspected and certified. The 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT with a Driverge Side-Entry Companion Conversion is designed specifically for families or transport services where the wheelchair user travels as a passenger in the mid-cabin section. Because this is a companion-style layout, the OEM factory driver and front passenger seats remain permanent and non-removable, prioritizing a familiar, comfortable front-row setup. Conversion & Accessibility Features Mid-Cabin Section Focus: The wheelchair occupant rides securely in the spacious middle row, remaining close to both front and rear passenger.
Power Fold-Out Ramp: Built from lightweight aluminum with an 800 lb capacity and a 29.5-inch width to safely handle larger power chairs.
Fixed Front Row: The standard factory driver and front passenger seats are non-removable, maintaining original vehicle structural integrity up front.
Keyless Operation: Deploy or retract the ramp and activate the power sliding doors remotely using a dedicated key fob or interior dash switches.
Lowered Floor: The center floor is structurally lowered to maximize interior headroom and provide a gentle ramp entry angle.
Commercial-Grade Flooring: Outfitted with a durable, non-slip rubber floor that is easy to clean and holds up against heavy daily wear.
Wheelchair Restraints: Standard floor-mounted L-tracks paired with Q’Straint tie-down systems secure the wheelchair safely in the center cabin.
